sunday at 12pm est (new york time)Thyroid Love Club Monthly Meet-Up
What to ExpectLiving with Graves’ disease, Hashimoto’s, Thyroid Eye Disease (TED), or confusing thyroid symptoms can feel overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting, but you do not have to navigate it alone. Our monthly support circle is a safe, welcoming space where you can connect with others who truly understand what this journey can feel like.
Each month, we come together to share, listen, learn, and support one another. Whether you are newly diagnosed, deep in the middle of a flare, trying to make sense of your labs, or working toward long-term healing, this is a place where you can feel seen, understood, and less alone.
When I was first diagnosed, I felt scared, lonely, and completely overwhelmed. I spent so much time searching for answers, reading stories online, and trying to make sense of what was happening to my body. Those stories helped, but I still wanted something more real. I wanted actual connection. I wanted to hear people’s voices, see their faces, ask questions, and be in a space where I did not have to explain every part of what I was going through.
That is why I created the Thyroid Love Club Monthly Meet-Up, to offer the kind of support I wish I had when I needed it most. This space was created so people living with thyroid illness can come together, feel supported, and remember that healing is not something you have to carry alone.
We meet once a month on a Sunday at 12pm EST (New York time). I announce the date about 2 weeks in advance on my website, mailing list, and instagram.
❋ gentle, supportive StructureWe usually begin with a quick welcome, a simple grounding moment, and a check-in. You are invited to share a recent win, a challenge, a question, or simply let the group know you are here to listen. The format is supportive, relaxed, and easy to join.
❋ Real Community Connection Connection is at the heart of this space. You will be surrounded by people who understand the emotional, physical, and everyday realities of living with thyroid illness. There is something powerful about being in a room where you do not have to explain everything from the beginning.
❋ Guided by Someone Who Gets ItEach meet-up is led by Elena, an integrative pharmacist, functional health coach, and someone with lived experience navigating Graves’ disease and Thyroid Eye Disease. This is a space that blends compassion, practical insight, and real understanding.
❋ Come As You AreThis is a judgment-free, welcoming space where you are invited to show up exactly as you are. You do not need to be in a certain stage of healing, and you do not need to have everything figured out before joining. Camera on or off, you choose.

Every month is a little different, because real life with thyroid illness is not one-size-fits-all. Some conversations are practical. Some are emotional. Some are educational. All of them are rooted in support and connection.
Common topics include:
symptom flares and how they affect daily life
eye symptoms, inflammation, and TED struggles
fatigue, brain fog, hair changes, and mood shifts
navigating labs, medications, and treatment decisions
lifestyle habits that support healing
stress, mindset, and emotional resilience
celebrating progress, even the small wins
You are welcome to:
share openly
ask questions
listen quietly
take what feels helpful and leave the rest
your story matters Why This Community Matters
Thyroid illness can affect so much more than your lab numbers. It can touch your confidence, your relationships, your routines, your energy, and the way you feel in your own body.
This community was created to offer more than information. It was created to offer real support. A place where people can feel less isolated, more understood, and more hopeful about what healing can look like.
Inside this space, the goal is to help you:
feel seen and supported
build connection with others on a similar path
learn from shared experiences
feel less alone in the ups and downs
leave each gathering feeling more grounded and encouraged
make new thyroid & spoonie friends
